Back in 1985, cinema goers were being marveled by the release of Back To The Future which went on to become the highest grossing film ever made.  At the same time back in London, our Managing Director decided to leave 20^th Century Fox and embark on a career in the risk assessing world of insurance.  IMS was born.

Through our heritage, IMS has the specialist knowledge and expertise to provide the highest levels of service for media and film production insurance matched with personalised service right from account handlers to directors.

Since the formation, IMS has always been independent meaning that we have the advantage of not being tied to a single insurer. Put simply and unlike others, we are able to offer a range of film and media insurance products from a wide panel of insurers to our clients.
