Back in the early 1980’s an employee of 20^th Century Fox decided to switch career from the film industry to the risk assessing world of insurance.  In London of 1985, our managing director established IMS and still continues to operate the company today.

Through our heritage, IMS has the specialist knowledge and expertise to provide the highest levels of service for media and film production insurance matched with personalised service right from account handlers to directors. 

Since the formation, IMS has always been independent meaning that we have the advantage of not being tied to a single insurer.  Put simply and unlike others, we are able to offer a range of film and media insurance products from a wide panel of insurers to our clients.
